Two educators provide solid waste education to kids and adults throughout Black Hawk County. With offices located at Hartman Reserve Nature Center in Cedar Falls, Waste Trac public programs can take place at the nature center, at the landfill, or at other locations.
These workshops will be held at two locations:
Waterloo Public Library**:
• March 29th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM
• Get a sneak peak at the items that will be sold on April 14th during the Commission subsidized truckload sale! Learn tips and tricks for using a backyard compost bin or rain barrel at your home.
• **2 attendees will win a certificate for a free compost bin or rain barrel (to be picked up on the day of the sale)
• No pre-registration necessary.
Hartman Reserve Nature Center:
• April 19th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM
• 657 Reserve Drive, Cedar Falls
