Two educators provide solid waste education to kids and adults throughout Black Hawk County. With offices located at Hartman Reserve Nature Center in Cedar Falls, Waste Trac public programs can take place at the nature center, at the landfill, or at other locations.
• These FREE workshops will be held at Hartman Reserve Nature Center, with two dates to choose from:
• September 9th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM
• September 30th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM

• These free guided tours will take place on October 15th from 9 AM - Noon
• Tour the Black Hawk County Landfill, Waterloo Waste Water Treatment Plant, and a local recycling center
• Meet at Hartman Reserve Nature Center; transportation is provided and limited to 17 participants
• Tours are designed for adult participants. Please wear closed-toed shoes and dress for the weather.
