The Black Hawk County Solid Waste Management Commission owns and oversees the operation of the Black Hawk County Landfill. In addition, the Commission provides ongoing waste alternative programs for area residents, Waste Trac educational programs, informational publications, and strongly encourages and supports recycling efforts in the county.
